Butterscotch Pinwheels

Ingredients
2 cups flour
1/3 shortening
4 tsp baking poweder
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cups milk
1 egg
melted butter
brown sugar
fruits and nuts
cinnamon
Instructions
Whip eggs into bowl.
Add shortening and milk into bowl while adding brown sugar gradually.
Mix until mixture is light and fluffy.
Add flour, baking powder and salt to mixture then stir until all ingredients are completely blended.
Allow mixture to set for at least an hour.
Roll dough into an oblong (flat elongated rectangle).
Spread melted butter evenly over dough.
Sprinkle sugar, cinnamon and fruits and nuts on dough.
Roll lightly and cut into rounds.
Place each rounds on baking sheet.
Pre-heat oven at 375°.
Bake for 6 minutes or until lightly browned.
