Jamaican Jerk Fish
Print this recipe
Spicy and irresistible you'll never look at fish the same way. Jamaica is known for it's jerk and this recipe is no exception.
Ingredients
1 pack maggi fish soup seasoning
2 lbs of Callalloo (shredded)
1 cup of Butter
Thyme (chopped)
2 ripe Scotch Bonnet Pepper (diced)
5 stalks of Escallion (diced)
2 heads of Garlic (diced)
3 medium Onions (diced)
3 tablespoon of Salt
5 pounds of Red Snapper or Grout Fish (Any Fish can use)
Instructions
Combine the ingredients in to form a paste (with mortar or a big spoon)
Stuff this paste into the fish
Rub the fish with the paste.
Marinate for about 2 hours in the refrigerator .
Wrap the fish in foil
Grill at lowest possible setting over a low fire, time to Grill 45 Minutes
